Although initially the customers who were accessing MUNRO Electronics's products were primarily owners of TV and stereo repair businesses, this soon changed. Some of the new lines we carried targeted toward more of the industrial electronic market which includes educational institutions, universities, utilities, community colleges, hospitals, and contractors. Clients who are members of the heavy industrial market include refineries, pulp and paper mills, and shipyards. Four employees quickly became six and the company moved to a larger facility.

But once again, after five years and much growth, we were forced to move. This time, however, while MUNRO Electronics continued to add industrial electronic lines, staff noticed an area which the company could branch into to further meet our clients' needs. This was the area of computers and computer related accessories. And with that, two more employees were hired; on of which is an outside salesperson working out of the Moncton (New Brunswick) area.

The move to our current location of 61 Marsh Street (East Saint John), is MUNRO Electronics last. We now have the luxury of using approximately 12,000 square feet of showroom, office and warehouse space. And with this move, two significant additions have occurred. MUNRO Electronics joined the EDGE partnership which is an alliance of over 114 industrial electronic independent distributors located all across North America. This partnership has allowed our company to:

Form strategic vendor relationships as it has forged special alliances with top manufacturers in the industry to obtain the best competitive pricing giving you the ability to choose the right item for your specific requirements;

Obtain technical expertise as it has hundreds of specially trained professionals on staff who are experts in providing answers and prompt solutions to all our product needs;

Access product availability as it has access to an on-line database containing the entire partnership's inventory; allowing product sourcing with a few simple key strokes; and

Prompt shipping as it owns over 100 warehouses located throughout the United States and Canada, assuring product availability to meet our most critical time requirements.

The second significant addition is that we added a residential lighting showroom to the facility. A lighting professional, with over 20 years in the business, was soon recruited and hired. MUNRO caters to those individuals constructing homes, or doing renovations, remodeling or simply decorating. We carry light fixtures, outdoor home lighting, table lamps, mirrors, doorbells, chimes, bathroom fans, and much more. And if what we have in the showroom doesn't meet their tastes, private appointments to select house lots are available upon request.
